Configure Ticket Panel

Overview

The Ticket Panel feature allows you to configure an interactive panel in Discord that users can click or select to create new Jira tickets.

Step-by-Step Configuration

Go to your project’s configuration and enter:

  • Panel Title: A short, descriptive heading.
  • Panel Text: Instructions or details about the ticket creation process.
  • Panel Mode: Choose between buttons or a dropdown.

(Optional) Set request-type specifics:

  • Button Color: Pick a color for the action button.
  • Button Emoji: Set an emoji to display on the button.

Generate the panel embed and send it to a Discord channel by clicking “Send Ticket Panel” button.

When users interact with the panel, they can quickly fill in necessary fields to create a new ticket in Jira.

Usage
  • Publish the panel in any desired channel.
  • Once posted, users simply click the button or select an option in the dropdown (if configured) to raise a ticket.
  • The bot will guide them through any remaining inputs.
